Some of you may be wondering how low fat high protein foods can make you lose fat and gain muscle. If your main concern is to lose fat then you will want to stay with the low fat and low calorie meals. Eat small portions and 5 - 6 times a day. This will speed up your metabolism and you will not be putting on those extra pounds from eating fatty foods. And if you are not wanting to gain weight from exercising try sticking to cardio. Don't do any stair climbers. Although they are a great workout it can add muscle mass which can discourage many women because they gain weight even though they have lost fat. 

If you are wanting to get ripped for summer time then you will eat and work out in a much different matter. To bulk up and gain muscle mass you will eat the low fat high protein meals 5 - 6 times a day but stick to the higher protein foods. Also it is a good idea to add a protein shake in the day and one after your workout. A good average is to have 1 gram of protein for every pound of weight. This is assuming that the majority of weight is not body fat.
